Chinese New Year Cupcakes

Surprise your loved ones during this festive season with a collection of Chinese New Year themed buttercream and fondant iced cupcakes! Vanilla cupcakes filled and frosted with vanilla buttercream, topped with fondant decorations. All decorations on the cakes are edible.

Gong Xi! Gong Xi! Hmm ... I think I should have made her hair darker?

Mandarin Oranges ... usually associated with good luck. It is exchanged among family & friends to usher in prosperity!

Wealth ... Gold ingot and gold coins.

Firecrackers to usher in the New Year. Umm ... did I get the Chinese character for 'Prosperity' right??

And finally,

Peach blossoms. Oh dear... my perfectionist self tells me not to include this in the package. Maybe I should send it to Cake Wrecks! Oh well ... back to the drawing board.

And finally (again?),

Tiger ... After all 2010 is the year of the tiger, third sign of the  lunar Chinese Horoscope.

Cupcakes comes in standard size (top 2.5 inches diameter) souffle solo cups.
